Where do I start with this gorgeous couple, It has been an amazing journey not just for Anjali and Rajan but also for their family and for me.
The pre wedding ceremonies and the wedding was absolutely fascinating, and I have learned so much. It was a great help that both families were so welcoming and really went out of their way to help me.
The colours, decorations, attention to detail and dancing were just fantastic. Not forgetting how stunning Anjali & Raj looked.
My expectations for my first Asain Wedding did not disappoint and I hope it’s the first of many, although I think I will definitely need more memory cards 🙂

The Santh Celebration is more of an emotional ritual as it’s a preparation for Anjali leaving her parents home. With the priest coming to the house to do the pray, It was great to see that it was the same priest that married Anjali’s parents. Travelling all the way from Southampton to be there.
This is the last step before the wedding 🙂

For Anjali her next step for her Asian Wedding was her Sangeet night. The Sangeet is a celebration for mainly the bride’s side and mainly the women. It’s an enjoyable pre wedding celebration, full of songs, jokes and Henna tattoo’s.
This was another enjoyable experience for me as I follow Anjali & Raj through this special ceremony.

To sum up how great Claire & Jon’s wedding was and how much of a pleasure it was to be a part of, I thought I’d share part of a message I received from Claire this morning. “Jon and I can’t thank you enough it was like having a friend doing are photos!!” To hear a comment like that really makes you feel good about the special moments I’m capturing for people.
It’s awesome to have built such a great relationship with Claire & Jon, from Sam’s photo shoot to the pre wedding shoot in Tynemouth. After booking me so long ago it was good to see all that planning and stressing really paid off. As well as little Sam looking daper in his suit to match his dad’s.
Not for getting visiting two very gorgeous venue’s Ramside Hall Hotel and St Helens Church really complimenting the day well.

Its always good photographing a friends wedding, as those intimate moments and funny jokes always feel that little more meaningful.
It was fantastic to be a part of Ruth and Anth’s intimate wedding at the York Registry Office then on to the Bay Horse pub around the corner.
Ruth and anth looked amazing and were also given some lovely surprises throughout the day from family and friends

It was my first visit to South Shields Town Hall and I wasn’t disappointed. With it’s gorgeous high ceilings and lovely décor. Two first time visits with the wedding breakfast and reception at The Quality Hotel in Boldon, Which was also a lovely venue.
Julie and Richi were a great couple to photograph and they both looked amazing on the big day. Looking back at their pre wedding shoot at Marsden Grotto it was easy to see that they would be.
It was a very relaxed day and Julie & Richi, with all there family and friends really made me feel welcome and a part of their day.
You know it’s been a good party when you rip your pants! Something Richi done on his first dance 🙂

I knew from Kirsty & Paul’s pre wedding shoot, that their wedding was going to be a gorgeous day. I wasn’t wrong!
Lumley Castle made sure the wedding ran smooth and certainly complimented how both Kirsty & Paul looked (STUNNING) with our first stop at St Mathews Church in New Silksworth which was also a fabulous building.
Jude was the one to put everyone to shame though as he looked mega cool in his suit. It was marginally close with flower girl Esme.
It was fair to say it was an amazing day and I loved being a part of it. Capturing some very special moments.
