It’s been way too long since the last time I was at Jesmond Dene for some pre-wedding photography. I forgot how many nice spots there were, it makes it easier when you have the weather on our side too. Rebecca & Liam tie the knot next year but taking advantage of the greens of summer for there pre-wedding shoot in Jesmond Dene.
It was a gorgeous shoot with some stunning photos that have me excited for the big day now.

Jesmond Dene is a wonderful, historic park in the heart of suburban Newcastle.

The Dene is formed from the Ouseburn’s steep-sided, wooded valley which is a peaceful haven for residents, visitors and wildlife alike. Located between Jesmond, Heaton and South Gosforth, the dene is easily accessible via all forms of transport. Today, Jesmond Dene and the adjoining Armstrong Park and Heaton Park are used by local people and visitors to enjoy walking and other leisure activities. But it was not always like this. In earlier times, over a period of many hundreds of years, there were water mills in the Ouseburn Valley to grind corn from local farms. Later, with the coming of the Industrial Revolution these rural mills were joined by other industries and the whole valley was a hive of activity.
