It was great to catch up with great friends of mine Lee-ann & Loui, for their pre wedding shoot in Durham City. It was a gorgeous evening for a photo shoot with lovely light fantastic setting and made even easier again by this gorgeous couple. Making my life very easy to capture some stunning shots.

To sum up how great Claire & Jon’s wedding was and how much of a pleasure it was to be a part of, I thought I’d share part of a message I received from Claire this morning. “Jon and I can’t thank you enough it was like having a friend doing are photos!!” To hear a comment like that really makes you feel good about the special moments I’m capturing for people.
It’s awesome to have built such a great relationship with Claire & Jon, from Sam’s photo shoot to the pre wedding shoot in Tynemouth. After booking me so long ago it was good to see all that planning and stressing really paid off. As well as little Sam looking daper in his suit to match his dad’s.
Not for getting visiting two very gorgeous venue’s Ramside Hall Hotel and St Helens Church really complimenting the day well.

I knew from Kirsty & Paul’s pre wedding shoot, that their wedding was going to be a gorgeous day. I wasn’t wrong!
Lumley Castle made sure the wedding ran smooth and certainly complimented how both Kirsty & Paul looked (STUNNING) with our first stop at St Mathews Church in New Silksworth which was also a fabulous building.
Jude was the one to put everyone to shame though as he looked mega cool in his suit. It was marginally close with flower girl Esme.
It was fair to say it was an amazing day and I loved being a part of it. Capturing some very special moments.

It’s funny as the day started and finished weather wise, exactly the same as their pre wedding shoot at Finchale Abbey. Raining cats and dogs all morning then coming out for a beautiful sunny night.
South Causey Inn wedding venue is a perfect location to host a wedding and Dawn & Trevor’s day was perfect. It was a lovely intimate day, relaxed with a good chilled out atmosphere.
Dawn looked gorgeous in her dress, finished off with some cute shoes, her Nana’s pearls and a veil bought from her mam.

Autumn has to be by far my favorite season to photograph in. There is just something about the feeling that winter is on its way, wrapping up nice and warm and heading outdoors. The colours are always amazing, the orange and browns of the turning leaves and the already falling leaves making a gorgeous carpet across the floor.
It’s always hard to catch the weather right and have a pre wedding shoot at the same time, but with half term upon us Rachel & Emma took the opportunity to do there pre wedding photo shoot early. Capturing the leaves before there was none left as there wedding at Newton Hall is not till the end of December. Which after this awesome pre wedding shoot I cannot wait for. A Christmas wedding at Newton Hall with an amazing couple and not forgetting the mulled wine what could be better.
Rachel & Emma were a gorgeous couple to photograph; they took me to Hawthorn Dene. Hawthorn Dene is a stunning location that leads down to the beach. It is rife for some great photo opportunities.

A fantastic vintage styled wedding at Seaton Holme. Naomi along with her friends and family certainly worked hard to make the place look perfect, and perfect it certainly looked!
With croquet and other games on the lawn, homemade pims and a whole lot of bunting!
Naomi & Dave were fantastic and great to photograph. With their day been so fun and relaxed it made it easy to capture natural shots of their guests enjoying the day.

For today’s pre wedding shoot I headed down to Crimdon Beach, which is a lovely beach, tucked away before you get to Hartlepool.
The weather was misty and dull and you could see there could be a heavy down pour at any minute. Luckily for Naomi & Dave and the dogs it didn’t rain and the mist just added to a better backdrop.
Naomi & Dave were a great couple to photograph; they didn’t at all seem fazed by the pre wedding shoot. This helped to create some gorgeous shots.
After this awesome pre wedding shoot I cant wait to capture there wedding day.

What a fantastic wedding to be a part of!
Sarah and Tom were an amazing couple, with their super cute son William who looked very dapper in his suit! He certainly made it easy to get some awesome shots!
It feels like just yesterday that I met them and shot their pre wedding shoot and a photo shoot of there wood floor show room!
The day ran nice and smooth. Starting with bridal prep at the Blackwell Grange hotel, followed by a lovely ceremony at All Saints Church in Hurworth Village. Following on with an intimate reception at The Bay Horse just over the road and then finishing the night at The Grange Bar in Darlington Centre. We had a downpour of rain but that certainly didn’t dampen the day one bit!
I’m looking forward to editing the rest of the photos!

What a gorgeous wedding, Gorgeous venue and most importantly a gorgeous bride.
Sandy & Ian’s Wedding was the very definition of elegant. Set at the outstanding Lumley Castle in Chester-Le-Street. From start to finish the day ran so smoothly, the wind could have been a bit kinder for the family shots but it didn’t put a dent in the day. Sandy looked sensational with a little help from her beautiful dress and make up artist. Her niece Robyn was with her overnight, helping to settle her nerves.
It was my first visit to Lumley Castle and I was really impressed. I got some sensational photographs in some of the old corridors, the main staircase and out front of the castle. Its certainly a venue that is bursting with character.
