Couple Getting Hitched | Bev & Chris
A Valentines Day wedding at High House Farm Brewery what could be more romantic, I loved being a part of Bev & Chris’s Wedding. They were a lovely couple to work with and looked mighty fine as well.
High House Farm is a very intimate wedding venue and suited the two families perfectly, with Bev’s family coming down from Scotland it was also a beautiful spot in Northumberland to show off.
Every one was so welcoming and friendly which made the day run smoothly with plenty of laughs on top. Not forgetting a great tour round the brewery and topped off with a gorgeous hog roast, which went down a treat.

I think we got a little taste of spring today up Bamburgh Castle for Bev & Chris’s Pre wedding shoot. The sun was shining and it was almost warm, although we had to endure a hike up and down to the beach, which really warmed us up. Looking back at the photos though and it was an excellent choice. Bev, Chris and I managed to create some stunning shots and they were a great couple to work with.
I’m looking forward to their Valentines Day wedding although I doubt my wife would agree.
Be sure to come back soon to visit their big day.

What would be your Top 10?
Here we go….
What an amazing year 2014 was, photographed so many gorgeous weddings and met so many awesome people.
I knew picking 10 photographs from last years weddings was going to be hard, ha-ha so hard in fact it’s actually 11. I just couldn’t take one more away from the selection.
In no particular order…
I love this photograph of Shaun, Christina kept him waiting a little longer then anticipated and I think Shaun’s cheeky little grin says it all.

As soon as I captured this shot of Rachel putting her earring in, I knew instantly I had a beautiful shot. Rachel looked stunning on her big day and I loved her hair and hairpiece.

At Natalie & Carl’s wedding it rained all day and we only managed to get outside right before I was due to leave. I made sure I didn’t disappoint Natalie getting her dress wet with this gorgeous shot with Linden Hall in the background.

Another stunning shot from Christina & Shaun’s wedding these two were a couple I could just keep on shooting over and over.

I was so lucky with the sky for Stacy & David’s wedding and as soon as I saw the sky I hustled them outside to capture this beauty. There was no way this wasn’t making it to my top 10.

With Tina & Neil’s photograph I could of picked both the colour and black and white as they are both amazing in their own rights but in the end it had to be black and white.

This is the first image from Rachel & Emma’s wedding. What stands out the most for me, is that you can really see and feel how much it means to them both. I instantly feel like I am there in the room with them.

The hardest job was to not pick to many from Rachel & Emma’s wedding. I have so many that I love from there wedding at Newton Hall that my list would be huge. One things for sure and that is there is no denying this fireplace photograph a place in the top 10

Vicky & Martin’s day was another day where we had downpour, and when I say downpour it was torrential. But it was on and off which added so much character to the sky. As soon as the sun started setting I grabbed them for this amazing shot with The Ramside Hall in the background.

My first visit to Rockliffe Hall and I was blown away at Jill & John’s wedding but the best picture for me didn’t involve the hall. With the wind blowing a whoolie all day I managed to capture Jill’s dress blowing around with some great detail in the sky.
This is the second one from Stacy & David’s big day and I love this one because of the character that the tall trees bring to the image. It’s as if to say that there journey is about to begin.

Why not let me know if there is an image you would of had included in the top 10

Couple Getting Hitched | Rachel & Emma
As soon as I met Rachel & Emma I new instantly that there Newton Hall wedding was going to be an amazing wedding to photograph. They were both so easy to get along with and I loved the ideas they already had both for their wedding and their photos. I knew from their pre wedding shoot at Hawthorne Dene that they were also going to look fabulous in front of the camera and as you can see from their shots below they looked sensational on the big day. A Christmas wedding at Newton Hall what could be better, Newton Hall was the perfect venue from the mulled wine to the roasting of marshmallows and chestnuts on the fire, not forgetting an unbelievable shot of them both sitting on the fire place. Topped off with a lovely selection of friends and family. The weather didn’t play to our advantage but that made no effect on the day or the photographs. I wish Rachel and Emma a long and happy marriage.
